About us
Building bridges through culture
The Myanmar Student Club brings together students from Myanmar, and anyone curious about it, to share food, festivals, language, and stories at UBC.
Whether you grew up in Yangon or Mandalay, our club is your gateway to a warm, dynamic community. We host cultural celebrations through the year and create a space where Burmese students far from home can find family.

Thingyan Water Festival
Burmese New Year with traditional water splashing, music, and food shared with the whole community.
Social Night & Ice Breaker Events
Meet fellow members over games and good conversation, the easiest way to make new friends on campus.
